The Blue Mountains City Council provides assistance to businesses affected by recent bushfires through a Mayoral Reference Group, a Business Outreach Program, launching the Love Local campaign, and by presenting a series of free events for local small businesses:

NSW Government agencies must use local businesses within communities impacted by bushfires wherever possible for clean-up, repair, rebuilding, remediation and enhancement works. Call the Small Business Bushfire Financial Counselling Support Line on 1800 413 828. Small business financial counsellors help sole traders and people who run small businesses in many ways. They provide advice on a range issues, including: options for managing business debts as well as personal debts.

Emergency Bushfire Response in Primary Industries Grants Program
$75,000 recovery grants, concessional loans and transport subsidies for eligible primary producers.

Small Business Grants
Grants of up to $50,000 are available if your business has been directly affected by bush fire.

Bushfire Working Capital Loan
Offers up to $50,000 to help businesses cover salaries or wages, rebuild infrastructure and purchase goods and services. Also, the Bushfire Recovery Loan of up to $500,000 is available for eligible businesses.

Disaster relief low interest loans through the NSW Rural Assistance Authority of up to $130,000 are available to eligible primary producers and small businesses, and transport subsidies of up to 50% of the cost to transport livestock or fodder, to eligible primary producers.
