Membership of MCRN is open to individuals and organisations (community groups, or registrable corporations, or incorporated associations) which agree to work within the Mission, Vision and Objectives of MCRN as outlined in the MCRN Strategic Plan, and MCRN’s Code of Ethics, and which are located in and/or provide community services within the Blue Mountains area and/or to members of the Blue Mountains community.
An incorporated association, or unincorporated community group, or registrable corporation, may also be eligible to join MCRN as long as the organisation nominates a person to represent the member organisation as the voting delegate for the organisation.
All membership applications are subject to approval or rejection by the MCRN Board and, if approved, to receipt of the sum payable for a minimum of one year's subscription.
New members are always welcome to apply

The MCRN Membership Application form is available as a document in Word that you can complete from your computer/phone/tablet and also in pdf if you would prefer to print it out and fill it out manually.
To join MCRN simply complete an MCRN Membership Application and return it to MCRN at support@mcrn.org.au.
The cost of subscription is described in the Membership Application form and depends on the type of membership, how many years for which you wish to subscribe, if you are an organisation and how many people you want to include in the membership.
The types of membership available:
- Individual (persons not representing an organisation),
- Community Sector Organisation
- Government Organisation, For Profit Organisation, Full-Funded Non-Community Sector Program.
The subscription period can be for 1, 2 or 3 financial years. Membership applications approved prior to or on 31 March will be subscribed for the current financial year. Membership applications approved on or after 31 March and on or before 30 June will be registered for the following financial year. For example, the first subscription for an application approved on or between 1 July and 31 March this year will be for the current financial year; whereas an application approved later (on or between 1 April and 30 June) will be for next financial year.
If you are an organisation, the subscription automatically includes between 1 and 5 people, 'participants', who are able to represent your organisation at interagency meetings and who will receive all member benefits as part of the subscription. The number of participants automatically included in the subscription depends on the number of years for which you subscribe.
If you would like to include even more people in your membership, additional participants can be nominated for a small annual fee per person.
After you send your membership application form to MCRN, it will be checked for completeness then forwarded to the MCRN Board for approval. This usually takes a few weeks, depending on the availability of Board Members.
Once your membership application is approved by the MCRN Board, we will advise you immediately and send an invoice for your subscription. Once the invoice is paid, we will add your details to the MCRN Membership Register, our mailing lists and send all nominated participants website log-in details.
