The 2019 Get Ready Blue Mountains Calendar of Events is now available!
- 4 Sep 2019
A range of local events to help Blue Mountains residents prepare for an emergency has been organised through the Blue Mountains Resilience and Preparedness Group with the support of the NSW Government.
Events kick off on Saturday 7 September with the Blue Mountains Economic Enterprise (BMEE) Bushfire Building Community Day at the Springwood Theatre and Community Hub. Throughout September and October, events such as family fun days, RFS open days, community lunches, 'meet your street' days and a bushfire building conference will be held at various locations across the Blue Mountains.
Catholic Care Springwood Drop-In Centre is running 'Get Bushfire Ready - Using Technology' sessions on Thursday afternoons throughout October. The final event in the calendar is an RFS Get Ready Workshop for the Deaf Community on 2 November at the Springwood Hub.
Details of all events and a downloadable calendar are available from our Get Ready! Blue Mountains Events 2019 page.
