Save the date: NCOSS Pre-Budget Submission Consulation

24 May, 2016

Next month NCOSS is touring the state to hear from members and local community organisations about their vision for a better NSW and how we can improve outcomes for people experiencing poverty and disadvantage.

We’ll be stopping off in 27 locations to conduct consultations sessions that will shape our future strategic directions, our submission on what should be included in the 2017 NSW Budget and how we can work together to make the change we want to see happen.

This is your opportunity to highlight what you think are the most pressing issues the state faces and how these issue impact your region and to identify practical solutions to address them.

We know that many of the issues that were identified in our consultations last year will remain. But there might be new thinking on how we can address those issues AND there might be new emerging issues that you want your peak to be advocating on.

We want to hear it all.

Don’t miss this chance to have your region’s voice heard and be part of a movement across the state for a NSW free from poverty and inequality.

Have your say about NSW Budget priorities – NCOSS Pre-Budget submission consultation – Tuesday 24 May 10am-12.30pm, Springwood Hub.

Check out our last year’s Pre-Budget Submission, the NCOSS 1 in 7 campaign to tackle child poverty in NSW and the Fair Deal campaign to ensure fair and transparent reform, procurement and contracts in our Sector.
